Physiochemical synthesis of Silver/Kaolinite nanocomposites and study their antibacterial properties

چکیده

Silver nanocomposites (Ag NCs) were prepared by two methods, chemical and physical synthesis using sodium borohydride gamma irradiation as a reducing tool. A one-step silver/kaolinite nanocomposite (Ag/Kln method has been developed successfully technique at room temperature under ambient pressure. The Ag/Kln NCs produced the ?-irradiation is pure without residues, good distribution with enhanced antibacterial properties, environmentally friendly. effects of various experimental parameters on formation NCs, such concentration Ag+ dose, have investigated. study antimicrobial susceptibility was undertaken to determine properties Ag in presence gram-positive gram-negative bacteria. microorganisms varying concentrations synthesized via compared those chemically. Concentrations used 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 5.0, 10 % for doses 7, 13, 20, 30, 40, 50, 65 80 kGy. Observation well diffusion variant showed significantly large zone inhibition physically (63 107% relative control) which indicates high activity. Chemically same set up however smaller inhibition. 20kGy higher activity against Enterococcus faecalis Escherichia coli These suggest that can be employed an effective bacteria inhibitor applied medical field.
